COVINGTON, Ky., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. William T. Robinson was awarded the 16th Annual Metropolitan Award in recognition of his dedication and service to our communities throughout the region. The event was held on October 26, 2010 at the prestigious Metropolitan Club located on the 19th floor of RiverCenter in Covington, KY.
Mr. William T. Robinson III is Member-in-Charge of the Northern Kentucky offices of Frost Brown Todd LLC, and past President of the Kentucky Bar Association. Throughout his career he has served as a leader in his profession and in his community including: Chairman, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport; the Kentucky Chamber; the Northern Kentucky Chamber; the Partnership for Greater Cincinnati; a founding Board member and Executive Committee member of Tri-County Economic Development Corporation; President, Redwood and Chair, Dorothy Wood Foundation; on the Boards of: United Way of Greater Cincinnati; Thomas Moore College; Mount St. Joseph College; the Athenaeum of Ohio; Covington Latin School; the Greater Cincinnati Literacy Task Force; the Red Cross; the U.C. Center for Economic Education and Research, the Free Store Food Bank; the Dan Beard Council/Boy Scouts; the Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts; the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; and the Board of the Taft Museum of Art. Mr. Robinson and his wife Joan reside in Northern Kentucky.
The Metropolitan Award is a recognition given to those who have generously dedicated themselves to our communities throughout the region. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding community leaders. The Metropolitan club recognizes these leaders because their contributions are in unison with the mission and purpose of the Metropolitan Club itself.
