MetroCast boosts Internet speeds to 75 Mbps
MetroCast Internet nearly 7 times faster than national average
MALVERN, Pa., Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroCast Communications, the video, Internet and phone provider serving customers in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina, has announced a significant speed enhancement for its residential Internet customers, boosting its top downstream speed from 50 Mbps to up to 75 Mbps.
MetroCast has increased its top Internet speed five times in the last six years, and tripled it in the last three years. The 75 Mbps MetroCast offering is almost 7x faster than the national average for downstream speeds.
