Metro Atlanta Chamber Announces Lineup for 2014 Mobility LIVE, a National Mobility Event Highlighting Mobile Strategies and Innovation
ATLANTA, Sept. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) announces the lineup for the 2014 Mobility LIVE conference, a national event that brings together key thought leaders and decision makers in the areas of mobile technology standards, strategies and innovation, Sept. 23-24 at the Woodruff Arts Center, W Atlanta Midtown Hotel and Opera.
Mobility LIVE attendees are invited to learn about the latest trends, priorities, strategies and innovative products from leading mobile innovators and leaders, including: AT&T Mobility, The Coca-Cola Company, The Weather Company, Cisco, SAP, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot and AirWatch by VMware.
Conference sessions are organized along five main tracks: The Internet of Things; Humanizing Mobility/Mobile Life; Social Hacking; Technology & Business Evolution; and Over the Horizon.

There is also an evening reception including the presentation of the Hackathon winners and Mobility Star Awards. The Hack-back Invitational, presented with the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and MAC, features the winners from a monthlong hackathon comprised of multiple teams of programmers competing for $30,000 in cash and prizes, while helping to give (hack) back to three of the nation's leading non-profit organizations: American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Points of Light /Hands on Network. The teams will compete in a judging competition on Sept. 23 and the winning team will be announced that evening.

"The idea for Mobility LIVE was developed from the work of the Metro Atlanta Mobility Task Force, which is comprised of 30 C-level executives guiding a shared vision to validate that Atlanta is indeed a global hub for mobility," Zeto added.
The Task Force also comprises multiple working group leads that are focused on executing the strategy that the Task Force lays out, with more than 200 volunteers making up teams that report into the working group leads.
