Metastorm Appoints New Executive Vice President & GM of Americas to Lead Continued Growth in EA, BPA and BPM Markets

BALTIMORE, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced it has appointed Bernadette Nixon to its executive team.  Ms. Nixon will be joining as executive vice president and general manager of the Americas responsible for Metastorm's field operations - including direct sales, channel relationships, and professional services.

The addition will support the continued growth in demand for Metastorm's software applications and professional services expertise. In her new role, Ms. Nixon will be responsible for sales strategy, channel development, revenue growth, effective professional services delivery, and efficient operational execution.  

Ms. Nixon has over 22 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, field marketing and operations. Prior to Metastorm, she spent 13 years with CA Technologies, including tenures as the senior VP of global field marketing and the senior VP and GM of sales for the United States and Canada. Prior to CA, Bernadette held sales and marketing positions with the United Nations of Geneva, Interquad and NCR.  Her unique combination of executive cross-functional expertise has been instrumental in growing software business units in excess of $700M and achieving record growth rates.
