Capable of removing a substantial amount of material in a finite amount of time, the WE14-125 Inox Plus offers 1,400 watts, 12 Amps of power, 35.4 inch-lbs of torque and a variable speed range of 2,000-7,000 rpm. With its robust Metabo Marathon motor, the new WE14-125 Inox Plus is ideal for heavy duty cutting, grinding and polishing applications in the metalworking and mechanical maintenance industries. The tool features advanced motor protection including current interruption protection, thermal overload protection, electronic speed stabilization and an electronic soft start that helps to extend tool life significantly.
Further extending the tool's life, the new grinder also features Metabo's unique Cool Flow technology. An improved and sonically balanced fan, coupled with better venting and more efficient internal ducting, helps to increase air flow over the tool's motor by 15%. Advance carbon brush technology greatly extends the life span of the tool before routine maintenance is required.
The WE14-125 Inox Plus has a Quick toolless wheel change system that saves time when replacing wheels, increasing operator efficiency. The grinder also features an ergonomic housing design with distinctive indents and Metabo's two-position Vibratech (MVT) side handle to reduce vibration up to 60% for comfortable handling. Dual grip zones and a 'racket' grip ensure secure, comfortable tool operation at all times.
Additional features of the WE14-125 Inox Plus include Metabo's "S-Automatic" safety slip clutch to help protect the operator from kickback by absorbing torque created should the wheel bind or snag, a burst-proof guard that can be adjusted within seconds without tools, a thumbwheel for pre-selection of speed, and Vario Tacho Constamatic (VTC) full-wave electronics.
The WE14-125 Inox Plus weighs just 4.7 lbs and has one of the most effective dust protection systems on the market. The system features Metabo's unique dust-deflecting winding protection grid, epoxy coated motor windings and highly durable auto-stop carbon brush with dust protection housing.
