Messina Hof Winery and Resort's 29th Annual Wine and Roses Festival

BRYAN, Texas, April 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wine and Roses Festival is a major annual event at Messina Hof Winery and Resort- http://www.messinahof.com.  This is the 29^th annual Wine and Roses Festival centered around the celebration of the budding of the vines and blooming of the roses.  This event will also focus on the heritage of Texas, celebrating local products, artisans, and world class wine made right here in Bryan, Texas.

This festival is open to all who would like to take part in supporting local businesses, as well as celebrating the heritage of Texas with award winning wines.  Festival activities include a grape stomping competition, live music, over 50 vendor booths and demonstrations, wine tasting, and food and wine pairing classes.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 20^th from 2:00-7:00pm at the Messina Hof Winery and Resort estate grounds at 4545 Old Reliance Rd Bryan, Texas.       

Messina Hof Winery and Resort's Co-owners Paul Vincent Bonarrigo and Merrill Bonarrigo planted their first grapes in 1977 and have seen great successes thereafter.  Today, their son Paul Mitchell and his wife Karen Bonarrigo continue the legacy of world class wines and hospitality.
