ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa., April 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- John Trostle from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania purchased the 3,000th Kubota tractor from Messick's in Elizabethtown, PA. After considering other brands and other Kubota dealers, John's choice was to go with a local dealer with a good reputation for initial price and service after the sale, looking for the right size and right features.

Trostle selected a Kubota B2320 with a gear transmission, 9 gears forward and three reverse. It weighs 1,430 pounds and is 93 inches long making it light and compact enough to haul on a small equipment trailer. A category 1 hitch will handle a wide variety of attachments. Lift hydraulics handles up to 1320 pounds. Kubota is known around the world for quality and is the only tractor line that engineers, manufacturers, and assembles it own product including the engine. John says the Kubota B2320 steers nice, is easy to shift and has a metal hood and fenders, a quality feature other competitors did not have.
Messick's in business since 1952 is a dealer for over 250 lawn and garden, construction, and agricultural equipment manufacturers with over 500,000 parts in stock, online parts catalogs, and a factory trained setup and service shop. Kubota tractors have been offered beginning in 1991. The full line of Kubota Lawn and Garden tractors, skid loaders, excavators, and agricultural equipment is offered at both the Elizabethtown and Abbottstown locations.
