COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Message Systems, the global leader in email infrastructure software for cloud-based businesses and large enterprises, announced today the launch of its Adaptive Email Network, a capability designed to help customers increase email deliverability and engagement, as well as protect their corporate brand and sending reputation. Through its Adaptive Email Network, Message Systems is uniquely able to analyze feedback data and create intelligent sending rules derived from the largest global email senders and the world's major ISPs, constituting over 90 percent of global email traffic.
According to a study by Kaspersky Labs, spam accounted for 70 percent of total emails sent in 2013. To protect consumers from spammers and inbox overload, ISPs have developed sophisticated screening technologies and sending rules to filter out spam from legitimate emails. While effective, these measures have created significant barriers for legitimate senders due to the challenge of keeping up with continuously changing, non-standard rule sets.
Message Systems works with the largest senders in the world, which collectively send 20 percent of the world's legitimate email – over 2.5 trillion email messages each year. As a result, the company has access to voluminous real-world feedback upon which it develops best practice rules. Message Systems collects data about ISP rules and bounce codes transmitted back to senders, which is vital for properly processing rejected emails. This information is then made available, via the Adaptive Email Network, to regularly update Message Systems software implementations. The result is that Message Systems customers get their email through to the inbox without surprises, blocks or an army of deliverability specialists.
"With more than 12,000 ISPs worldwide and millions of ISP domains, it's impossible for senders to keep track of every new rule and bounce code, and to continually update their sending policies to reflect these changes," said Phillip Merrick, chief executive officer of Message Systems. "We understand the complexities of sending email better than any company in the industry, and through the Adaptive Email Network we help our customers comply with all ISP rules and best-practice mandates for rejecting and regulating email."
With the Adaptive Email Network, Message Systems also equips customers with the data needed to purge bad email addresses, which can damage sending reputations. By streamlining ISP management through Message Systems software automation, customers have more time to focus their efforts on developing and maintaining relevant recipient lists, and delivering interesting and relevant content to consumers. The Adaptive Email Network is already delivering results for Message Systems customers.
"Understanding what's happening on the receiving side of the email delivery chain is essential to getting our clients' email messages delivered," said James Thompson, director of email operations at Infusionsoft. "The Message Systems Adaptive Email Network updates our Momentum email infrastructure platform daily with the most up-to-date sending rules, ensuring that Infusionsoft clients always get the best deliverability rates possible."
"One of the challenges any sender with global presence faces is delivery into other countries with different ISPs." Said Kate Nowrouzi, director of product policy at Message Systems. "China is of particular interest today given the strong sending growth rates driven by China's robust economy. The Adaptive Email Network now has full support for the two largest ISPs in China, Netease and qq.com, which combined cover about 85 percent of email traffic in that region. By utilizing the Adaptive Email Network and our software, we recently helped one major consumer brand improve its inbox delivery from 20 percent to 100 percent in China, a real boon for the business."
The Adaptive Email Network has reached over 90 percent ISP domain coverage in North America, South America, Europe, APAC and Australia. To learn more about the Adaptive Email Network, please visit the Message Systems website.
