The Mesothelioma Victims Center places a large emphasis on helping US Navy Veterans, such as sailors, who served on a navy destroyer and who now have mesothelioma. About one-third of all victims of this rare cancer who will be diagnosed this year are former sailors and officers of the US Navy. The Center's number one priority for the these Veterans is ensuring they get the nation's top lawyers to advance their mesothelioma compensation claim, as well as finding them the best possible treatment options.
The Center says, "What most people don't realize is that US Navy destroyers, frigates, and cruisers were probably the most common type of US Navy ship between the 1950s and early 1980s. Typically half of the crews on these ships would have daily exposure to asbestos. A large percentage of Veterans were either in the engine room, or they were assigned to duties that put them at risk of asbestos exposure constantly. Some of these ships were nuclear powered during these time frames, which created an even greater need for asbestos.
"We are urging US Navy Veterans who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, or their family, to call us anytime at 866-714-6466 before they retain the services of a law firm to advance a mesothelioma compensation claim, because the lawyers we would like to suggest typically get much better compensation results for their clients.
"Aside from information about the best mesothelioma compensation lawyers in the nation, we are also urging all diagnosed victims to call us so we can try to work out a treatment plan for this rare cancer that does not involve a VA Medical Center. Because most diagnosed victims of mesothelioma are older than 65 there is much better treatment options offered by major hospitals, as opposed to the VA. The cost for treatment at these hospitals is typically covered by Medicare, as we would like to explain.
"In addition to making certain that all diagnosed victims have instant access to the nation's most skilled mesothelioma compensation lawyers, we also do everything possible to make certain that the diagnosed victim has instant information about the nation's top treatment centers for this rare cancer. Please take us up on our offer, and call us so we can give you the best possible information about what to do immediately after a mesothelioma diagnosis has been confirmed." http://MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com
