SOMERS, N.Y., June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- We are pleased to announce Surgical Center of Connecticut ("SCC") has relocated and opened at its new location.  In November 2013 Merritt partnered with 18 leading spine, orthopedic, urology, GI, general, bariatric, hand and plastic surgeons to purchase an interest in SCC.  The Facility was subsequently relocated, opening in April 2014 on 4920 Main Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  SCC is State licensed, Medicare Certified, and Accredited by the AAAHC.
