Merriman Capital Forms Strategic Alliance With Livevol to Expand Options and Equity Trading

SAN FRANCISCO, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Merriman Capital, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Merriman Holdings, Inc. (OTCQX: MERR), today announced a strategic alliance with Livevol® Inc. to execute options and equity orders through its derivatives trading desk on behalf of Livevol's customers.

This strategic alliance provides a facility for Livevol's institutional customers to receive Livevol data and analytics research tools through the agency desk established with Merriman. The agency desk is scheduled to begin accepting Livevol's customer orders by June 1, 2012.  Merriman recently advised Livevol on their institutional raise, completed on May 18th, 2012.
