Merrick Towle Communications Named National Association of Home Builders Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Award Finalists
BELTSVILLE, Md., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- In a statement issued today, Harry L. Merrick IV, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merrick Towle Communications ("MTC"), announced that the National Association of Home Builders ("NAHB") has named the agency as a finalist in two categories in this year's Pillars of the Industry Awards. Considered the most prestigious national awards in the industry, the Pillars Awards honor excellence in multifamily development, design, marketing and management.
NAHB Multifamily is presenting the finalists and winners of the 2010 Pillars of the Industry Awards in a new format: a virtual awards ceremony that combines live speakers and presenters with a full show. Award winners in each category will be announced in phases, with the winners in the Marketing and Individual achievement awards being announced on October 21, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and the Builder and Firm awards to be announced on December 7, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The most significant nomination is for "Best Overall Leasing Campaign for a Rental Apartment Community." MTC has one qualifying entry: The Allegro (Washington, DC). MTC is also nominated in the "Best Property Web Site" for Park Place at Petworth Metro (Washington, DC).
