Merillat® Cabinetry Joins Curtis Stone at the New York City Wine & Food Festival

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Merillat® cabinetry is kicking off the brand's bicoastal Works Like a Dream kitchen Culinary Tour with the first of two flagship events featuring Curtis Stone. The first event will take place at Thrillist's BBQ & The Blues presented by Merillat hosted by Curtis Stone on Sept. 30, 2011 during the New York City Wine & Food Festival. The second event will take place in Los Angeles in November 2011.

The New York event will feature Curtis Stone and a select group of chefs who will be cooking delicious BBQ cuisine for event goers to enjoy. In addition Curtis will host a special cooking demonstration in a Merillat kitchen, showcasing the kitchen's special features that make it so functional. After the demonstration, guests will have the chance to sample the food and tour the kitchen.  In addition, Merillat cabinetry is providing the island work stations for the other chefs to use while they prepare and serve their food.

Attendees will enjoy gourmet BBQ from the participating chefs and restaurants, all while Curtis demonstrates the smart functionality of Merillat kitchens.

Thrillist's BBQ & The Blues presented by Merillat hosted by Curtis Stone takes place on Friday, Sept. 30 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Hudson Terrace at 621 West 46th Street. The New York City Wine & Food Festival runs from Thursday, Sept. 29 to Sunday, Oct. 2.
