Meridium Announces the Winners of the 2016 APM Allstar Awards
Awards Recognize Strong Advocates of Meridium and APM Solutions
DALLAS, May 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Meridium®, Inc. (www.meridium.com), the global leader in asset performance management (APM) software and services, today announced the winners of the inaugural Asset Performance Management Allstar Awards. The winners were recognized during the annual Meridium Conference at a special event held at AT&T Stadium by our host Roger Staubach. The Annual Meridium Conference for clients and partners held this year at the Marriott Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center. The awards honor individuals who have been strong advocates of APM and have worked diligently to advance APM within their industries.
According to Bonz Hart, Meridium founder and CEO, "Through the APM Awards, Meridium annually recognizes companies for their remarkable global accomplishments in the APM discipline. This year we are adding additional awards for individuals, rather than companies, known as the APM Allstar Awards. This is our way of honoring and thanking those individuals who have been instrumental to the development of APM throughout the years."
The APM Allstar Enabler Award, which recognizes IT professionals work to enable their business through technology, was presented to Ethan Gekoski of LyondellBasell Industries and Scott Myers of Flint Hills Resources. These individuals helped their own companies, to continuously improve the process, connectivity and performance of their APM solutions. This award also recognizes their efforts to foster successful integrations of APM with other systems in their companies.
The APM Champion Allstar Award goes to individuals who are dedicated advocates for an overall APM initiative within their organizations. Meridium presented this award to Kevin Bauman of The Dow Chemical Company, John Hawkins of Axiall, Kris Killinger of ExxonMobil and Ethan Yabs of Kraton Polymers. These individuals have helped define how APM enables the strategic direction of their companies and have demonstrated the value of tying relevant data and systems together.
The APM Executive Allstar Award honors an executive who saw the vision for APM in his or her company and recognized that reliability improvements would come from approaching asset management differently. The 2016 recipient of this award is Mark Freeman, VP of Technical Services at Xcel Energy.
