Meridium Recognizes Industry Leaders in Asset Performance Management Innovation

The winners were recognized during the annual Meridium Conference for partners and clients at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, Texas, for remarkable global accomplishments by APM professionals in best practice development, program success, innovation, and overall achievement in the field of asset performance management.

The 2016 APM Best Practice Award, which recognizes a pioneering best practice that optimizes a process using Meridium APM solutions, was awarded to Chevron Phillips Chemicals (CPChem), one of the world's top producers of specialty chemicals. Chevron Phillips Chemicals was selected based on exemplary work around developing clearly defined asset integrity work processes and driving a successful enterprise implementation. CPChem initially embarked on a corporate Meridium implementation project, and quickly realized success was dependent upon on empowering its user base through the development and delivery of role-based competency and training programs. The entire organization assumed a vital role in training and system utilization to deliver real value through APM.
Meridium presented the 2016 APM Enterprise Technology Award to Petropiar, one of Venezuela's leading oil and natural gas reserve operators. The APM Enterprise Technology Award recognizes the company that has implemented a technology solution that has eliminated or integrated the most stand-alone solutions, and effectively removed many of the data silos in their organizations to create a true enterprise APM system.
The APM Innovation Award is given to the company that developed and implemented new and innovative uses of the Meridium APM solution to change work processes within their industry, enabling sustainable value. Rio Tinto, a leading global metals and mining company that focuses on finding, mining and processing the earth's mineral resources, was recognized for its early and visionary work developing a reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)-based approach with Meridium Asset Health Manager and Policy Designer.
