The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Stevie is taken from the Greek name Stefanos, which means "crowned."
More than 1,000 entries from companies and organizations of all sizes and across virtually all industries were submitted in this year's Stevie Awards competition. Merchant e-Solutions is one of five companies to make it to the final round in the Team of the Year category for customer service teams that directly engage business customers.
Merchant e-Solutions earned its nomination for the work of its Customer Service Help Desk, which in 2011 achieved a telephone response rate of 99.11% and an average response time of 4 seconds. One out of every four Merchant e-Solutions employees works in customer service.
