ATLANTA, Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today announced the appointment of Mark Aikman to general manager marketing services, effective immediately. Aikman has served as the acting general manager of marketing services since July 2015 and reports to Drew Slaven, vice president of marketing. He will oversee marketing communications, after sales marketing and loyalty, digital platforms and marketing financial strategy.
Most recently, Aikman served as department manager, digital marketing & CRM, where he managed the strategy and execution of all Mercedes-Benz internet marketing in the U.S., including overseeing the company's main public web site, www.mbusa.com. He led the digital marketing team on various initiatives, including social media, search marketing, online advertising and design and production of digital media.
Prior to joining MBUSA, Aikman worked at Ryan Partnership, now Epsilon Company, for eight years. In this position he developed brand strategy, platforms, activation ideas and concepts on several national brands. Aikman joined MBUSA in 2011 as the social media lead where he was responsible for social media strategy and planning.
