FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 24 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- MemorialCare Medical Group was recognized for the eighth year in a row as one of the State's top rated physician groups in California by Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA).

IHA is a statewide not-for-profit collaborative of various healthcare participants that independently surveys and gathers information to ensure quality and to recognize medical groups that excel in patient care. Each year, the Association evaluates over 200 participating medical groups and recognizes those who demonstrate the highest overall benchmark for quality. Awards are based on performance in three quality measurement areas: meaningful use of health IT, patient experience, and clinical measures that include priority conditions such as cardiovascular, diabetes, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and prevention.
