Terri Cammarano, JD, LLM Brings 25 Years of Expertise Leading Teams in High-Profile Health Care and Other Corporate Transactions
ORANGE and LOS ANGELES Counties, Calif., May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- MemorialCare Health System in Southern California announced that Terri Cammarano, JD, LLM, has joined its executive team as General Counsel. Cammarano brings more than 25 years of experience as a partner and associate with leading law firms as well as serving as a senior legal executive developing and leading multidisciplinary teams for hospitals and health systems.

Cammarano was the first General Counsel for Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, serving five years in that position and most recently as Senior Vice President and Special Advisor following Hoag's affiliation with St. Joseph Health. Previously she was in private practice, serving most of her career as a partner at Foley & Lardner, LLP. In addition to her expertise in legal transactions for health systems, hospitals and provider organizations, she led a number of high-profile transactions in such industries as aerospace, nonprofit education, technology and real estate.
She earned her undergraduate degree in political science at California State University Fullerton and her J.D. (Juris Doctorate) and LL.M. (Master of Laws) at Loyola Law School (Los Angeles), where she serves on the adjunct faculty. Cammarano is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in California and Hawaii, and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys.
Cammarano has been recognized for her community involvement with the Volunteer Service Award presented by President George W. Bush's Council on Service and Civic Participation and the Lynford Lardner Community Service Award for exceptional volunteerism and civic involvement. She was listed amongin recognition of his volunteer work and civic involvement. the California State University, Fullerton "50 Women of Distinction" honoring her career and life achievements, and received the Los Angeles County Bar Association Lynne Whitte Award. She is a member of The Roar Foundation Advisory Board.
