ST. PAUL, Minn., June 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Your digital day doesn't have to come to a halt the next time you give blood! You can now stay connected with Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) new, FREE WiFi!
Many Memorial Blood Centers' Donor Centers will begin offering free WiFi to blood donors starting on Monday, June 16, 2014.
Donors who give the life-saving gift can check email, catch up on the latest news, or Facebook at the following donor centers – Bloomington, Duluth, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, and St. Paul.
"Blood donors have been requesting a WiFi HotSpot and we're excited to deliver a way for them to stay connected with this new service," says Kris Belanger, Vice President of Donor Services. "We encourage donors to bring their iPad or tablets with them the next time they give! "
Internet access is already available in our e-chairs. E-chairs are used by donors who give specific blood components such as platelets and plasma.
