PORTLAND, Maine, Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To support continued growth across the Eastern Seaboard, workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the appointments of Laurette Wright, Jeremiah LaCross, Natalie Campaneria and Debra Willard Webb as Safety Management Consultants. Wright will support MEMIC's growth in North Carolina, LaCross will assist policyholders in Vermont, Campaneria joins safety management consultant Luis Pieretti in MEMIC's Florida territory while Willard Webb joins MEMIC's Maine Loss Control team.
With more than 30 years of occupational health and safety experience, Wright has held positions as a Regional Clinical Manager at caregiver equipment manufacturer ArjoHuntleigh, Safety and Health Manager at Austin Quality Foods and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at Wausau Insurance Companies before joining MEMIC. Wright graduated with a master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in occupational health nursing from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has earned her Certified Safe Patient Handling Professional (CSPHP) and Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S) designations.
With 10 years of experience as a safety specialist, LaCross has held positions as a Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Middlebury College and Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at Pike Industries, Inc. before joining MEMIC. LaCross graduated with a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Keene State College in New Hampshire.
Natalie Campaneria brings more than 25 years of medical and ergonomics experience as a Physical Therapist to MEMIC. In her prior role, she founded the ergonomics department for a regional healthcare system with the goal of reducing repetitive strain injuries in the workforce. Campaneria has taught occupational rehabilitation and ergonomics for the Physical Therapy program at Florida International University. Additionally, she has presented at the National Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Conference, as well as the NIOSH Total Worker Health Conference. Campaneria earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and she is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Health program at the University of New England.
Debra Willard Webb has more than 20 years of healthcare experience with 10 years as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist with a focus on safety (COHN-S). She is certified by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) and by NIOSH in spirometry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
