Melanie Galvin Named Professional Saleswoman of the Year

RENO, Nev., May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Professional Saleswoman of Nevada (PSN) has named Melanie Galvin the 2016 Professional Saleswoman of the Year. Galvin, branch manager at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, was presented this honor at this year's Saleswoman of the Year Awards and Luncheon, which recognizes professional saleswomen for excellence in the field of sales and marketing and who also strive to make the community a better place.

Galvin is a graduate of Southern Oregon University and has been in the finance and mortgage lending industry for 17 years. Throughout her career, she has built dynamic relationships with her clients while helping them achieve the American Dream of homeownership. She has contributed to her community by completing over 100 hours of community service and serving as a liaison for the Boys and Girls Club and National Charity League.

Galvin currently serves on the Board of Directors as Finance Chair for the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada and the Marketing Committee for the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. She is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, WIN, and Women's Council of Realtors.
