During the launch event, Meitu also announced its plans to enter the chip industry with their self-developed MT-AI graphics processing chips, which will be capable of achieving the ideal of "RAW to JPG", making it possible for photos to enjoy the high resolution of RAW files but retain the compact size of JPG files. The development of the MT-AI graphics processing chips will not only dramatically increase the speed of graphics processing and development efficiency, but also rewrite all currently known rules for filming videos with mobile phones.

The all-new Meitu T9 is equipped with class-leading graphics components, including dual-pixel dual-lens (DPDL) front and back cameras, a dual-pixel 2x12 million main camera lens (SONY IMX363), a supporting camera lens with professional blurring capabilities, a powerful 1.4μm image sensor, an F1.8 large aperture, an optical stabilization system (OIS) features on both front and back cameras, full-pixel PDAF focusing, and an unreal focusing speed (as short as 0.03s).
