NEW YORK, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- With their bold styling, cutting edge technology, dynamic driving ability and advanced fuel efficiency, this year's new cars and trucks offer unprecedented choice for car buyers at the New York International Automobile Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from April 22 to May 1.

"From the all-American performance of the Chevrolet Camaro SL1 and the Dodge Charger SRT8 to the fuel-sipping technology innovations powering the Kia Optima Hybrid and the new Prius V, it's possible to choose from state-of-the-art to 21st century old-school in the same model year," he continued.
Chevrolet Malibu: The new Malibu will feature a family of fuel-efficient and powerful four-cylinder engines, along with six-speed transmissions that also contribute to efficient performance. Featuring European-inspired driving characteristics, the new Malibu is Chevrolet's first midsize car to be sold globally.
Kia Optima Hybrid: Kia's first-ever hybrid for the U.S. market will offer an estimated 40 mpg on the highway. The new model is a stylish and well-equipped sedan that uses a full parallel hybrid system and can be driven in zero emission, full-electric drive mode at speeds up to 62 miles per hour or in blended gas-electric mode at any speed.
Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet: The world's first all-wheel drive crossover convertible delivers the open-air exhilaration of a convertible with the versatility of an SUV.
Bugatti Veyron: One of the world's fastest, most expensive and exclusive cars, the $1.4m Bugatti Veyron features 1000+ horsepower, 7,993 cc engine fed by four bi-turbochargers that pushes it to a top speed of over 250 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just 2.5 seconds.
Nissan Quest: The all-new Quest makes a strong statement in terms of style, user friendliness, functionality and utility. It features one-touch side doors, quick release fold-flat 2nd and 3rd row seats, a permanent rear storage well, dual panel sliding moonroof and Advanced Climate Control System.
Volkswagen Tiguan: Sporting a new front end defined by horizontal lines to bring it into line with the latest Volkswagen 'design DNA', the new Tiguan looks sharper and sleeker than the current model.
Chevrolet Sonic: The all-new Sonic is offered in two body styles: a four-door sedan and a sporty five-door. Sonic is powered by either an Ecotec 138 horsepower 1.4L turbo engine or an Ecotec 1.8L engine.
Lotus Evora S and IPS: The Evora S with IPS (Intelligent Precision Shift) allows the driver to switch between manual paddle shift and automatic drive modes. The driver also has the option of selecting 'sport' mode which showcases the Lotus sport driving experience allowing the driver to really feel each gear shift and be in complete control of the transmission. The Evora S is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5 liter V6 engine and does 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds.
Hyundai Veloster: The all-new three-door coupe differentiates itself from traditional coupes through its unique three-door configuration, which includes a rear door on the passenger side for added practicality.
Subaru Impreza: The all-new 2012 Subaru Impreza 4-door and 5-door models will deliver 36 MPG, the highest fuel economy of any all-wheel drive car on sale in the U.S. The new design will provide a roomier interior with improved levels of comfort and refinement.
Chrysler 300: The latest 300 combines head-turning design with exceptional refinement. Engineered to provide exceptional in-town and highway efficiency and performance, the all-new 300 and 300 Limited models feature the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine (18 city /27 hwy) while the 300C comes with the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine.
Toyota Prius v: The all-new five-seat Prius v – v for versatility – uses the same platform and full hybrid powertrain as the current generation Prius hatchback while offering 50 percent more interior cargo space.
Volkswagen Passat: The all-new larger Passat -- designed in Germany and made in America -- offers best-in-class rear legroom and remarkable fuel efficiency estimated at 43 mpg in TDI form. With prices expected to start in the low $20Ks, the all-new Passat offers three drivetrain options: a responsive 2.5L gasoline engine, a remarkably eco-friendly 2.0L TDI Clean Diesel and a powerful 3.6L VR6.
Range Rover Evoque: The 5-door Evoque combines concept car good looks and a premium cabin with improved practicality and the luggage space of a compact station wagon.
Audi A7 Sportback: The new A7 is a large, elegant five-door model that combines the character of a coupe with the comfort and prestige of a sedan and the functional utility of a station wagon.
Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe: With its compact proportions, low silhouette with powerful shoulders and a narrow C-pillar in a classic three-box design, the new C-Class Coupe comes with a choice of two new direct-injection gasoline engines equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Aston Martin Virage: The beautiful, dynamic and prestigious new Virage and Virage Volante are powered by a front mid-mounted 6.0 liter 490 bhp V12 engine.
Dodge Charger SRT8: Dodge's newest product from the Street and Racing Technology (SRT) team features a 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with an estimated 465 horsepower combined with an all-new active valve exhaust system for improved fuel efficiency.
Porsche Panamera S Hybrid: The new S Hybrid sedan is powered by a supercharged 330 hp 3.0-liter V6 engine with an attached 47 horsepower electric motor creating a combined 380 horsepower giving the new Porsche an estimated 34.5 mpg.
