MedVantx Names New VP Employer Solutions and Workplace Health

SAN DIEGO, July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MedVantx, Inc., an innovative consumer medication management and delivery company that created the first ever controlled access to generic samples in US physician offices, today announced the appointment of  Peter J. Kounelis as Vice President of Employer Solutions and Workplace Health Programs.

Mr. Kounelis joins MedVantx with 30 years of healthcare marketing and commercialization experience with pharmaceutical, pharmacy benefit management and healthcare service companies, working with employer, pharmaceutical, and managed care clients.  Mr. Kounelis was formerly the VP of Client Services for Walgreens PBM business and has held a broad array of sales, account management, clinical product development and informatics roles at MedImpact and AdvancePCS.  He is a registered pharmacist, with retail, mail and specialty pharmacy experience as well.
