Medisafe 1 Technologies Advances Negotiations for Lifesaving Device Created by Inventors of Iron Dome Missile Defense System
JERUSALEM, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medisafe 1 Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: MFTH), a developer of patented technologies that physically prevent unauthorized administration of prescription medications, announced today that the company has advanced negotiations with a group of engineers that has developed a potentially breakthrough medical technology (patent pending) that alerts Emergency Medical Technicians and healthcare providers when an individual is in need of advanced medical treatment.
The research and development group as well as the inventors of this technology are the inventors of the now famous Iron Dome security system, employed in Israel to automatically shoot down incoming missiles fired at major population centers.
The potentially lifesaving technology is a band that is worn by individuals who have pre-existing medical conditions that may instantly require immediate intensive medical care. The band detects critical vital signs of the individual and sends an automatic alert if levels indicate that imminent intensive care may be required. The advanced alert enables patients to get the medical care they need before critical levels become untreatable.
"Medisafe 1 Technologies is advancing efforts to acquire new technologies and expand the ability of our company to market technologies that reduce the numbers of patient casualties at hospitals and medical centers," said Jacob Elhadad, CEO of Medisafe 1 Technologies Corp. "The developers of the band technology have already proven their ability to create life-saving devices."
"We look forward to the possibility of adding their new band technology to our commercial product line," Elhadad added.
