SCRANTON, Pa., Dec. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Majormedia, a media buying and planning firm based in northeast Pennsylvania, announced today that it will donate excess national media, with $2 worth of media donated for every $1 in media purchased for national advertising campaigns by the end of the year.
Recipients of the donated media may be qualified 501(c3) charities that are tax exempt under federal IRS rules. For example, a national direct response marketer that buys $100,000 in airtime will see $200,000 in airtime (at fair market value) donated to its preferred national charity.
