What: This video from The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach follows Kyle and Stacy Himmerick, the "LUV Is In the Air" giveaway winners, and shows parts of their romantic vacation on the Emerald Coast in May 2011. Kyle and his wife of seven years, Stacy, were treated to round-trip airfare to Panama City Beach, Florida, a seven-night stay at Grand Panama Beach Resort, a $10,000 jewelry shopping spree at McCaskill and Company in Destin, Fla., dinner for two at Firefly restaurant, a private romantic dinner in their hotel, an original painting by Northwest Florida artist Justin Gaffrey, a shopping spree at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, shuttle service from Sunshine Shuttle, and a dolphin excursion at Gulf World Marine Park. Who: In 2010, The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach teamed up with Southwest Airlines' Spirit Magazine to give one lucky couple the romantic vacation of a lifetime. Despite such setbacks along the Emerald Coast as the down economy and the 2010 oil spill, sponsors teamed up to provide a prize package worth over $30,000. The "LUV Is In the Air" giveaway, named after Southwest Airlines' stock exchange ticker symbol (LUV) and headquarters at Love Field, Texas, began with a bang as 45,000 people from across the country submitted romantic haiku poems to the contest. Haiku is a Japanese style of short poetry consisting of three lines: the first with five syllables, the second with seven syllables, and the third with five syllables again.

In the spring of 2011, it was announced that Kyle Himmerick of Colorado had won the contest with this haiku:

"Spring and we arise
As lovers take to the skies
Adventuring on…"

When: July 2011

Where: Florida's Northwest Coast, which is thriving once again after a year of hardship created by the poor economy and the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster in the spring and summer of 2010.
