Media Advisory: Treasury Benchmarking Survey Results to Be Revealed
Association for Financial Professionals, IBM and Deutsche Bank Will Release "2010 AFP Benchmarking Survey" at AFP Annual Conference in San Antonio
WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), IBM and Deutsche Bank will announce the results of their third annual treasury benchmarking survey on November 8 at the AFP Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Survey results will be presented at the conference session entitled "2010 AFP Treasury Benchmarking Program: Determining Your Treasury's Performance Level."
A partnership between AFP and IBM, and underwritten by Deutsche Bank Global Transaction Banking, AFP Treasury Benchmarking Program provides benchmarking data for financial professionals so they can compare the performance of their organizations' treasury operations against those of comparable organizations.
As with the 2009 survey, the 2010 AFP Benchmarking Survey was supplemented with the participation of subscribers to gtnews, an AFP company and the world's largest network of corporate treasury professionals.
The objectives of this year's survey are to:
- Determine performance levels achieved by all participants in the 2010 AFP Benchmarking Survey
- Define world-class (80th percentile) benchmark targets
- Analyze performance levels by peer group
- Provide a basis of comparison for companies to identify performance gaps and evaluate opportunities for improvement
Whereas last year's survey emphasized technological differentiators, this year's survey emphasizes human capital, especially the training, professional development, advanced degrees and credentials that are linked to the best treasury departments.
RESULTS ONLINE: Complete survey results will be published Nov. 8 on www.afponline.org/benchmark . Journalists who wish to receive the results and commentary via email should contact [email protected] .
MEDIA AT THE EVENT: Press who wish to attend the conference in person may pre-register for a complimentary press pass via www.afponline.org/presspass or by contacting [email protected] . Please reply by Oct. 22.
