About Teen Living Programs
Teen Living Programs builds community, hope and opportunity for youth who are homeless by addressing their immediate needs and helping them achieve independence and stable housing. TLP intensively serves over 300 young people a year through a continuum of services that includes three residential programs—a 4-bed emergency shelter for minors, a 24-bed transitional living program, and a 10-apartment independent living program. Our comprehensive program model provides youth with wrap around support and the tools they need to succeed: intensive case management, employment, educational and recreational support; independent life skills training; and mental and primary health care. TLP reaches hundreds more through its outreach, prevention and crisis management services and with the addition of a new Drop-In Center this year, young people now a place to go to be safe during day and evening hours and find respite, access critical services, and begin the process of stabilizing.
