MDHI to Kick-Off Fall Promotions Season with New Add-on Campaign in Approximately 200 Albertson's Stores
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCQB: MDHI.PK), today announced it has signed an additional Fall advertising promotion for the MediPendant™, the industry's first voice prompted medical alarm with two-way speak and listen through the pendant technology. Under the terms of the new retail agreement, Albertson's Stores will be utilizing pharmacy merchandise bags printed with the MediPendant™ name, logo, website address and toll-free number in approximately 200 stores. This promotion, which is expected to kick off November 1st, is expected to increase awareness of the product and to generate direct sales.
"This fall is expected to be extremely busy as we launch our major retail and promotional marketing programs. We are expecting these programs to further accelerate our already fast-growing rate of product sales," commented Ronnie Adams, CEO. "We have recently increased our inventory levels and have ordered additional product to meet this expected strong demand. As we are already strongly trending toward profitability, we expect sales and residual monthly recurring revenues from these additional activities to move us into profitability. As we outlined in our latest letter to shareholders, our recent turnaround has been very dramatic and as we move into our busiest sales period of the year, our confidence level has never been higher."
About MDHI
Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (MAC) develops and manufactures innovative products and practical solutions within the framework of a vast growing marketplace. MediPendant's™ patented two-way voice technology enables the user to speak and listen directly through the pendant no matter where the user may be in and around their home. MediPendant™ service also includes advanced features such as three-way calling that enables the operator to link loved ones directly into the emergency call in real time. Text message alerts are also standard, and are used to inform loved ones that the user has contacted an operator or has requested assistance. A standard medical alarm device does not enable the user to speak and listen through the pendant, thus limiting them to a small area in their home. There is always the risk that the user will not be heard by the call center operator if they are not within a short range of the base station. For more information, go to www.medipendant.com.
