LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- McRib lovers can now celebrate. Beginning October 25, the mighty McRib Sandwich will return to McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
"The McRib has been around for almost 30 years and it continues to be one of our most popular sandwiches yet," said Michael Mangione, Jr., president, McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California. "We always strive to make our customers happy and give them what they want, so if that means bringing back the McRib, then that's what we're going to do!"
The McRib features a boneless pork rib patty topped with pickles, onions and tangy BBQ sauce served on a fresh bakery roll. The legendary sandwich will be offered on the menu for a limited time for a suggested retail price of $2.79. Price and participation may vary.
Complete nutritional information on the McRib Sandwich can be found on the Southern California McDonald's Web site at www.mcdonalds.com.
MOASC is comprised of nearly 600 franchised and company-owned McDonald's restaurants in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura.
