McLane Advanced Technologies Offers SAAS-MOD Training Classes
TEMPLE, Texas, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT), a global provider of Information Technology and logistics solutions, is proud to announce that it is now providing Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD) training classes along with its other Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) Training. The first class is scheduled for October 15-19, 2012 at the MAT campus in Temple, Texas.
SAAS-MOD's mission is to store, receive, issue, and ship munitions. The system enables the U.S. Army to manage ammunition with tracking and support. Through network communications SAAS-MOD provides global visibility of stock levels to the Army and its major commands.
MAT is a recognized subject matter expert in Logistics Information Systems. The result is substantial training capabilities by certified instructors. Classes are conducted at MAT's campus as well as locations worldwide. The objective of the SAAS-MOD training is to provide students with the ability to operate, demonstrate, and apply the functions and capabilities of SAAS-MOD to support munitions operations.
