McKool Smith Donates to Nonprofits Global Health Corps, Vogel Alcove
DALLAS, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- McKool Smith has donated $100,000 to both Global Health Corps (GHC) and Vogel Alcove, two leading nonprofit organizations that provide access to health care and support social services for children and families in need in Dallas and in underdeveloped countries around the world.

Barbara Bush, GHC's Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, accepted McKool Smith's $100,000 contribution at the firm's holiday celebration on December 9 at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas. The annual event honors the firm's employees and clients, drawing more than 1,000 attendees from across the country. Ms. Bush's parents, President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, were also in attendance.
Founded in 2008, GHC strives to reduce the disparity in health care between the rich and poor nations of the world. It offers young professionals from a variety of fields the opportunity to use their skills and experience to improve health care in developing nations.
