PHILADELPHIA, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today it has invested in Zeteo Tech, LLC. This continues McKean's strategic plan to diversify its offerings to Defense customers.
Zeteo is focused on creating and maturing innovative technologies for National Security Customers. The company leadership brings world-class expertise in Chem/Bio Defense (CBD), robotics, biomedical applications and radiation detection. All are inventors and thought leaders in their fields, having created and executed advanced research and development efforts in both the government and industry. Collectively they have over fifty US patents covering a wide range of technologies.
Dr. Wayne Bryden is the President of Zeteo Tech. He is a Physical Chemist whose experience includes management positions at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Dr. Chuck Call, Vice President of Commercialization, has already built successful companies focused on CBD and energy technologies. Mr. Tom McCreery, Vice President of Innovation, is a Systems Biologist who created and led DARPA CBD and combat casualty care programs. Mr. McCreery also was part of Raytheon's CBD and robotics programs. Mr. Jim Carlini, Senior Advisor, is an Electrical Engineer with management experience at Northrop Grumman and DARPA, and advisory positions with the United States Air Force Scientific Advisory Board and the Defense Science Board.
