McKean Captures New NSWC Contracts

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today that it received two awards from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) totaling more than $27M. Both awards are cost plus fixed fee with a five-year period of performance.

The first award will support NSWCPD Code 524 with Technical, Logistic, Program, Engineering, Programming/Control System Engineering, Field Engineering, and Administrative Support Services for Navigation Systems and Integrated Bridge Controls. Specific tasking includes system design and drawing development, liaison with designated government Life Cycle Managers and In-Service Engineering Agents, and technical services for both new installations and the maintenance and repair of legacy systems.

The second win supports NSWCPD Code 412 with Engineering and Technical Services for Steam Systems. Tasking will include engineering and technical solutions and associated integrated logistic support support for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical and Steam Plant readiness and safety, maintenance availability support, and critical spares support including the modernization, upgrade, inspection, maintenance, repair, and program management.
