McKean Captures Fleet Introduction Support Contract

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today it was awarded a Naval Sea Systems Command Surface Training Systems Program Office (PMS 339) contract to support Fleet Introduction Support Services for New Construction, In-Service Vessels and AEGIS Ashore Detachments. The five-year cost plus incentive fee effort is valued at over $58 million.

The McKean Team will provide integrated Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) and Pre-Commissioning support. Tasking will include logistics, technical, training, administrative and information technology/network support for Program Executive Office (PEO) SHIPS, PEO CARRIERS, PEO LCS and PEO SUBS.

Team staff will be located in Washington, D.C., Hampton Roads, Bath, San Diego, Avondale and Pascagoula.
