McKean Captures Another NAVSEA Contract

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- McKean Defense Group, LLC announced today it was awarded a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) services contract in support of Deputy Commander for Surface Warfare (SEA 21). The three-year cost plus fixed fee contract is valued at over $24.8 million. 

McKean will provide program management support, budget/finance support, operations support and administrative services to the Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Centers (CNRMC) and the Surface Team One (ST1) initiative. CNRMC's mission is to enhance surface ship maintenance and modernization efforts. The purpose of ST1 is to improve cross-organizational processes to address the challenge of meeting expected service life and current readiness.  McKean has supported CNRMC since its stand up in 2011, and ST1 since the initiative was created in 2009. This task creates the ability to capture synergies across the efforts, organizations and stakeholders.
