McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies appoints Brian Cohen as CEO

MENLO PARK, Calif., June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies, which includes the flagship brand Pacific Specialty Insurance Company (PSIC), a leading personal lines specialty insurance company, today announced the appointment of Brian Cohen as Chief Executive Officer. Cohen's appointment is effective immediately.

Cohen joins McGraw from Strategic Growth Advisors (SGA) where he was President and CEO, serving companies in the technology, financial services and insurance industries. Prior to SGA, Cohen led the successful turnaround of global software company Clear Technology. He previously worked at Farmers Insurance as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer where he directed a 15,000 person exclusive agent sales force offering an array of insurance products. During his time at Farmers, Cohen served on the Board of Directors of Farmers New World Life Insurance Company and Farmers Financial Services, and also held other senior executive roles.
