McGladrey Names Gary Sturisky to Lead National Business Consulting Services

ATLANTA, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- McGladrey, one of the country's leading providers of assurance, tax and consulting services, announced today that Gary Sturisky has joined the firm as the National Leader for the Business Consulting Practice.  An industry veteran with more than 17 years of experience, Sturisky joins McGladrey as the national Business Consulting Services practice expands nationwide.

In his new role, Sturisky will be responsible for overseeing strategy and the continued growth of the Business Consulting practice while simultaneously ensuring clients receive the best possible service.

Sturisky most recently served as the Global Practice Leader for Jefferson Wells' Risk Advisory Services organization, where he led a team of approximately 2,000 professionals across 50 worldwide offices. In addition to P&L responsibility, Sturisky led strategic planning, international operations, service delivery capability and key growth initiatives.  In 2009 Sturisky spearheaded Jefferson Wells' global expansion into India, Brazil, Japan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mexico, the Caribbean and the United Arab Emirates.

Previously, Sturisky served as the Regional Leader of the Enterprise Risk Management and Contract Compliance Services Practice for KPMG's southeast region.  

Sturisky holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Africa, a master's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
