McDonald's® Restaurants of the Greater Philadelphia Region To Partner With Local Organizations For Community Counts Day
Local McDonald's Owner/Operators and volunteer crew members and managers will lead various service projects in an effort to give back to the community
PHILADELPHIA, July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonald's® Restaurants of the Greater Philadelphia Region is hosting its first Community Counts Day on July 14 by partnering with 10 local organizations, in an effort to support the community. McDonald's will send volunteer crew members and managers to the selected organizations and support projects which include, property clean-up, assisting in summer camp activities, reading books to children and serving food to the community.
Giving back to local communities is an essential part of McDonald's mission to support the communities where they live and work. Both McDonald's and the partnering organizations strive to bring out the best in our neighborhoods through teamwork, leadership and by promoting positive community values.
