MIAMI, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Marc I. Goldsand has joined the Miami office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.

Goldsand counsels clients regarding a wide array of business matters, complex commercial litigation, receiverships, and business restructuring. He has experience representing individuals, entities and court-appointed fiduciaries in numerous complex commercial matters, including receiverships over commercial real properties and operating businesses. Goldsand's receivership practice includes vigorous client representation with respect to distressed asset preservation, management and maximization.
Prior to joining McDonald Hopkins, Goldsand was an associate at the law firm of Weissman & Dervishi, P.A. He also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Barry L. Garber of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Goldsand received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami Law School in 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and information technology from Emory University Goizueta Business School in 2002.
