McCarthy Construction Leaving Green Footprints With SaviCorp's DynoValve
SANTA ANA, Calif., Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- SaviCorp (Pink Sheets: SVMI) announces outstanding DynoValve performance results with McCarthy Construction, one of the oldest, most respected commercial construction companies in the United States.
McCarthy Construction employs 2,000 people and operates in all 50 states. Headquartered in St. Louis with regional offices in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Dallas, Sacramento, San Francisco and Newport Beach, the 136-year-old company has constructed airports, bridges, highways, hospitals, office buildings, retail/industrial centers, universities and research centers throughout the country.
McCarthy Construction Vice President of the Newport Beach Division, Frank Pasztor, and SaviCorp VP of Sales/Marketing, Chuck Nelson, recently teamed up to install DynoValves on five randomly chosen McCarthy vehicles. The results of six-week testing included dramatic emissions reduction and improved engine performance on each vehicle. Additionally, fuel consumption was also reduced.
"For several weeks I monitored the performance of each (DynoValve) installation, also getting reports from each driver. What I discovered was immediate performance improvement and a 15% savings on fuel costs," said Frank Pasztor, McCarthy Construction VP. "It was an easy decision to roll out and schedule installation for the next five vehicles. It is our hope that we will be able to install DynoValves on our entire fleet of 230 vehicles in Newport alone."
Mr. Pasztor added, "As a company, we take great pride in our equipment and vehicles, and if the life of each vehicle can be extended another year or two, I would consider that a bonus. To also participate in the reduction of carbon emissions I believe is a good thing and also the responsibility of every individual and company operating motor vehicles."
