McCann Strengthens NY Office Leadership Promoting Steve Zaroff To Managing Director
NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Steve Zaroff, Chief Strategy Officer of McCann New York, has been promoted to the additional post of Managing Director, effective immediately.
In making the announcement, Chris Macdonald, President of McCann New York, said, "Great strategy has a massive impact on our ability to produce insightful work that helps drive our clients' business success. Steve's promotion reflects the impact of his strategic contribution to our growth and the need for deep management bench strength to guide it. As the agency continues to grow, Steve is adding management lead responsibilities on some important client businesses in addition to being a strategic partner to me on the direction of the agency going forward."
Zaroff joined McCann in 2012 as Chief Strategy Officer to oversee the strategic direction of the New York agency's portfolio of client brands. He is credited with building a market-leading strategic capability for the agency and he was a critical part of the team responsible for McCann's 2014 new business drive.
"It's obviously an exciting and dynamic moment to be in this business. I'm delighted to continue to contribute to the success of McCann, and to help our clients' brands play meaningful roles in people's lives," said Zaroff.
