McCann Named Most Creatively Effective Agency In 2020 WARC 100 Global Rankings
NEW YORK, March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- McCann New York was named the #1 advertising agency for creative effectiveness in the 2020 WARC Effective 100 rankings. The WARC Rankings are a global index of creative, effective and media excellence in advertising.
McCann New York won this recognition based on the performance of nine campaigns for seven clients. Four of the McCann New York campaigns were ranked in the top 100 of all work produced in 2019: "Changing The Game" for Microsoft was named the #5 most creatively effective ad of the year; "Generation Lockdown" for March For Our Lives was ranked at #21; "The Team That Wouldn't Be Here" for Verizon was #70; and "Price On Our Lives," also for March For Our Lives, was #94.
The five other campaigns cited by WARC: MGM Resorts International ("Universal Love Songs"), Verizon ("Answering The Call"), March For Our Lives ("The Most Vicious Cycle"), State Street Global Advisors ("Fearless Girl"), and Donate Life California ("Second Chances").
