McAlister's Deli Kicks Off Countdown To 7th Annual Free Tea Day With National Champion-Sip

ALPHARETTA, Ga., July 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- McAlister's® Deli, a leading fast casual chain, will celebrate its 7th annual Free Tea Day on Thursday, July 23. Guests who visit any of the participating McAlister's locations will receive a free 32-ounce glass of McAlister's Famous Tea.* Beginning today, fans can join the countdown to Free Tea Day by taking part in McAlister's National Champion-Sip for the chance to win 25 years of free tea.**
"Every year, guests' excitement grows as Free Tea Day becomes more widespread with the continued growth of the brand. Last year, we gave away almost 322,000 glasses of our tea and we expect to far exceed that number this year," said McAlister's Vice President of Global Marketing Donna Josephson. From July 1-23, fans can share their photos and videos showing how they sip McAlister's tea using hashtag #FreeTeaDay2015 on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr or by tweeting a Vine. Guests also can upload their submissions by visiting www.mcalistersdeli.com/Champion-Sip or via the Champion-Sip app on www.facebook.com/TeaFreaks. Each day, 25 entrants will be selected randomly to win a $25 McAlister's gift card. One grand prize winner will receive 25 years of free tea. **
