ALPHARETTA, Ga., Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- McAlister's Deli, a leading fast casual restaurant, announced a same-store sales increase of 6.4 percent during the second quarter of 2013. This marks the 12th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entree sales, indicating overall traffic gains for McAlister's restaurants system-wide.

McAlister's has also opened six restaurants year to date and expects to open 15 restaurants this year.
