Mazars USA Welcomes Chief Human Resource Officer Julie Venkat

NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazars USA LLP, a leading accounting, tax, and consulting firm, today announced that Julie Venkat has joined the firm as Chief Human Resource Officer. Julie succeeds John Porricelli, who after 20 years with the firm will be stepping down at the end of the calendar year.

Julie has over 20 years of experience as a business-focused senior HR leader in the professional services, consulting, consumer products, and technology and information sectors. She has launched three HR organizations in large global and start-up companies, where she has held CHRO roles.

Prior to joining Mazars USA, Julie helped build a consulting firm focusing on culture, communication and talent. She has also held multiple senior executive level roles at start-ups and large global companies, including publicly traded organizations and two start-up consulting firms. Julie began her career in human resources at one of the Big4 firms and participated in change initiatives as it evolved, while moving into positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately leading HR for one of the global consulting practices. Julie earned a degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and currently provides volunteer work to animal and humane related organizations.
