Mazars USA Announces $100,000 Donation To Fight Hunger Across Six States

NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazars USA LLP, a leading accounting, tax, and consulting firm, recently unveiled the launch of its Annual Giving Theme, which for 2018 is Fighting Hunger. Mazars USA will donate $100,000 to organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life to those in need, and its employees will increase food collection and volunteer efforts to fight hunger in their local communities.  

The initiative is part of the "We Are Mazars" program, which fosters employees' personal and professional growth through volunteerism, donations and giving back to the communities in which they live and work.

The Annual Giving Theme will deepen the firm's relationship with local hunger-related charities, many of which the firm has existing and longstanding relationships with, through prior volunteer and donation efforts.

Mazars USA will be making donations from its Philanthropic Fund to charities in the fight against hunger in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Philadelphia, Sacramento and Chicago, including:

• Community Food Bank of New Jersey
• Food for Families
• Frederick Rescue Mission
• Greater Chicago Food Depository
• Mercy Inn
• Mustard Seed School
• Philabundance
• Sacramento Children's Home

The contributions from Mazars, of both money and donated food, will provide thousands of meals to those who need it most.
