DALLAS, June 21, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) President Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio will announce a new effort to focus attention on helping to end inequality and create more equitable American cities. The announcement will be made during the annual USCM meeting here, hosted by Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, beginning June 20th and ending June 23rd. More than 200 of the nation's mayors from cities large and small have convened at the OMNI Dallas Hotel to discuss the economic health of the nation's cities, transportation, education, housing, help for returning Veterans and the minimum wage.
The announcement will be Sunday, June 22nd, at 11:30 am, CDT, at the OMNI Dallas Hotel, Ballroom Foyer.
